Fateful

Fateful - Claudia Gray *looks up at my rating* *sighs*

ok...iv been waiting for this book for about a year now. When I went to the library last week I almost had a heart attack because this came in for me to checkout(yes I'm too poor right now to buy books shush!). I literally skipped on home and began reading it in the elevator up on way to my floor. I was so excited to finally have this book in my possession..hate to say it but I was a little tiny bit disappointed of this book. Breaks my heart really. I'm a HUGE fan of the titanic and anything to do with the history of it. I also love werewolves..if u haven't noticed lol. I thought the combination of werewolves and the titanic was a very unique idea. I prefer this better than the vampire twilight wanna bees that keep popping out.

So basically this is about a young woman who is a servant to a snobby family and they go on the titanic to get to america. Tess(the girl) saved up a lot of money so she can leave the family once they arrive in america, they treat her like dirt; especially the lady of the house.

On the titanic she meets alec, a young man with a terrible secret. He's a werewolf!! And so there's this evil werewolf who belongs to a group of werewolves who kill humans for fun and they want alec to join them. Along with that we learn a TON(way too much for my taste) of hidden secrets that the family that tess serves has. Kinda reminds me of a soap opera...

I didn't think this was good as I thought it would be. I love how accurate all the history was about the titanic. The way the author wrote this book made you feel like you were truly back in 1912.

I didn't like the fact that the family had so many secrets. It was interesting but I had to go back and re read who did what with who. I was hoping this book would keep me interested all the way through, but I ended up putting it aside every day. Don't get me wrong I liked the book but I didn't love it like I thought I would. Personally her evernight series is way better. I'm still a huge fan of claudia gray though!
