I'm a passionate lover of books, coffee and anything zombies. I hate twilight with all my heart and soul, dont get me started on how stupid " sparkly vampires" are. Books were there for me through the toughest times in my life, no matter what mood I was in, I could always count on a good book to keep me going. I'm just the type of girl who'd rather stay in on a Friday night with a refreshing beverage and a good book than go out to wild parties. What can I say, I'm a nerd ;)

Warning: Supernatural gifs ahead

Well now, that was an utter disappointment. *huge ass sigh*
Like a lot of people, I'm a huge fan of the tv show. I guess that's an understatement. I'm a HUGE FAN. Like owns all the seasons and watches them over and over again and constantly drool over Jensen Ackles kind of fan.  If it has anything to do with Supernatural I go into fangirl mode. So a few months ago when I heard there's a freaking book series based on the tv show, you can imagine how thrilled I was.
Unfortunately this book didn't do justice to the tv show.
First of all I hated how the author constantly reminded us how Sam and Dean's mom died by the yellow eyed demon. It's in almost every other chapter and just other stuff you should know if you actually watch the show. I don't need to be reminded of something that's pretty obvious from episode one over and over again.
I think the author tried too hard to make this just like the tv episodes and failed. Sure, there was the humor I loved between the brothers, but it seemed to be just too much. I know in the episodes they fool around but they also act serious about their hunts. In this book it just seemed like everything was one big joke to them. They couldn't take anything seriously. They didn't act like the two guys I love in the show.

I was going to read another book right after this one by the same author, but I think I might just wait awhile and then read a book by a didn't author to see if someone at least got the two main characters right. I'm glad that didn't authors wrote books in the series and its not the same author for the whole series.
Loyal fans of the show, like me, should NOT waste their time with this book. It will only piss you off like I am. Or just stick with the show and watch Jensen and Jared work their magic. ;)

Woa. Did not expect to love this one as much as I did. Jennifer L Armentrout and I have a rocky relationship. I liked Wait For You, but FUCKING HATED White Hot Kiss and her Lux series. I think what made me love this one so much was the fact that it isn't written like her shitty PNR books. It seems like a different author completely wrote this book. There was no stupid MC, sure she had memory loss and she had her moments, but she wasn't like the other heroines in the other books who annoyed the hell out of me.
Kudos to Armentrout for writing a decent YA book. Now if only she wrote more books like this one...
Can't fucking believe the GR outage. Of course it happens on a day where I didn't even have a book by me to keep me sane. *sigh* Hope they fix it soon! I highly doubt it though...
Happy reading peeps!

The author of this book just disgusts me to high hell. Just because people didn't like your book gives you NO right to create sock puppets and troll on book reviewers.  Thats a great way to get people to not want to read your book. Just. So. Immature.  -_-  IMO she shouldn't have even written a book if she cant handle other peoples opinions ...
Ahem...now onto reviewing this "book"..
Wow..this book was an absolute fucking  trainwreck. It was so messed up that I only read to 56%. But here's a run down of everything that I had a problem with so far..
. I hated all the characters especially Kade, he was such a Dick. The way that he liked watching others being beat up was such a turn off.
. The main idea of teens who were harassed by bullies getting revenge on them is just plain stupid. Doesn't that fucking make them a bully too since they are "getting back" at them? *facepalm*  I would honestly love to know what the hell was going through this author's head when she wrote this book.
. Apparently a gym teacher is a bully because she gave a straight A student a C in gym class so the girl freaks out because the college wont accept her cause of the low grade. So what do the league of strays(dicks)  do? They trash her office and burn her grade book. Are you fucking kidding me!?!? Its a damn C not an F! Most colleges that I know of still accept you if you get a low grade in gym..I should know..
. Kade, this guy who mysteriously shows up, has been keeping tabs on the girls for weeks and Charlotte, the main heroine, thinks hes all dreamy and crap. I'm so sick of heroine's falling for the stalkers...its so yesterday's news.
. The writing was too juvenile for my liking, it made the book unbearable to get through. Also the teens were supposed to be seniors in highschool but they are acting like children with all the immature pranks. My little sister(who is currently 11) is more mature and knows better.
. There was a scene that deals with gay bashing and I was extremely offended by what went down. It was in my opinion unnecessary and I was completely appalled that the other characters had no problem with this prank. Fucking disgusting-_-. I have family members who were beat up for being gay and I was even tormented in a cruel way for being bi. I just thought that scene should have been taken care of differently.
So basically if you get bullied, its ok to get revenge on who ever bullies you. Its ok to beat the shit outa them, make them feel your pain. *eye roll*
So between the immature author and how terrible shitty  this book was, I DO NOT recommend this to anyone. Save your precious $$ peeps! Remember : friends don't let friends read horrible books

Ok, I'll just admit it right now that I had no intention of reading Anna Dressed in Blood. Why you may ask? Because from reading the summary on goodreads it just sounded like the typical boy falls in love with ghost girl. The whole Romeo &Juliet bullshit that's overly used in SO many YA books nowadays. After finishing Anna Dressed in Blood I know now that its way beyond the typical YA book.
This book mainly reminds me of the super popular Tv show Supernatural, aka the best Tv show ever! You got your teenage boy traveling place to place killing things that go bump in the night(like Sam&dean) . The weapon Cas uses in the book is one hell of a big knife that sends the dead back where they belong(like the colt gun in Supernatural) . Even though hell breaks loose in some parts of the book, the characters make jokes (like in show). Cas vaguely reminds me of Dean and I'd say Thomas is Sam, come on they are both some type of psychic! I think the fact that I thought this read like a longer episode of supernatural made me fall desperately in love with this book.
The point of view is being told by a male character which I thought was great and fresh. I'm not huge on reading from a males POV because I usually end up not feeling connected because I'm not a boy. But with this book it just seems..right. Its hard to describe but it just worked really well with me.
There's not love triangles, no insta love, no bitchy female leads, and no boring moments. The only problems I had with the book was when the cat ended being eaten. I'm a huge cat lover and my heart broke when I read that part. I didn't even flinch when three classmates were being killed but I cried when the bloody cat died. Shows how loving I am towards humans right? Lol. and the fact that there wasn't any really Scary parts. Ya it was plenty bloody but it just didn't make me wanna hide under the covers. Its not Scary as other people say it is, in my opinion anyway..
All I can say is: Why the hell aren't there more YA horror books?? If there were more books like this instead of the same old paranormal romance where the boy&girl cant be together crap I'd be a happy camper.
I highly recommend this to all my friends on goodreads. If you hate it you can come find me and beat me with a_____
I am waiting patiently for the sequel!
